Eyeglasses, Sunglasses and Goggles - Fort Wayne, Indiana

Scott Marshand started the business in 1976 at the young age of
19 years old. He ran the business for 18 years before he was in
an accident that confined him to a wheelchair and he could no
longer use his hands. His wife Peggy, at that time, took over for
him. From the wheelchair, Scott had accomplished many things.
He started another business above the optical shop. The Upper
Room Tanning Salon was in business for several years before
Scott had decided it was too much on his family and chose to
shut it down. While running a small farm, Scott got into eBay and
started selling vintage eyeglasses which still can be found today
on eBay under "vintagepeg".

Scott passed away July of 2002, his wife ran the business for

many years and she now is able to enjoy a relaxed life, because
her daughter, Cassandra, has taken her place in the family
business. Peggy is now able to be an active member of the
Corvette Club, she placed fifth in the nation in 2007 for Corvette
racing. She still plays a dynamic role in the business, just not
near as much as she once had to.

Cassandra grew up in the repair shop, and she believes that the
business is in her blood. Although she has never had the chance
to work alongside of her father, her mother taught her everything
she could. They ran the shop together for many years before Peggy was able to semi-retire. Cassandra has brought many new ideas to the trade of eyeglass repair and because of her; Marschand's Optical Repair, Inc. can now offer their customers many more options.

Paula is the newest addition to the Marschand's Optical Repair, Inc. family; she has been training enthusiastically for more than a year now. Her ability to adapt to eyeglass repair came unexpectedly fast. She is very eager to learn, takes pride in her quality repair and is dedicated to giving great customer service. Paula specializes in custom paint jobs and is able to offer our customers new painting options now more than ever before. Technology has changed and we have changed along with it. We dedicate ourselves to helping our patrons as much as we possibly can.
